Joel and Silas get to help make special treats when they visit Grandma's. Yummy!
Hanging out at Great Grandma Leo's for Thanksgiving - lots of fun was had by all! (and lots of food was eaten by all too)
Joel and Silas had a blast playing in Great Grandma's big backyard.
Sure they're cute, but they are two wild and crazy guys too! The big activity at the Leo's was dropping stuffed animals down the laundry chute into the basement. This provided hours of entertainment.
Back at the hotel on Thanksgiving evening, we enjoyed a dip in the heated pool. I got a free night's stay since I had spent a week there on business. Thanks, Hewitt!
We stayed at Uncle John's and Aunt Ruth's house (Jorie's Mom's Sister) on Friday night and the boys loved Uncle John's totally restored classic Service Master truck.
We got to spend some time with Great Grandpa Lower at his home in Windsor Park Manor too.
We had a lot of snow a couple weeks ago (it's all melted now, but supposed to get 6 inches tomorrow!). Joel is ready to do battle with a shovel full of snow!
Silas isn't quite as into the cold and snow as Joel is, but he does love to eat it.
This kid needs to have his own line of Christmas cards, don't you think?
Silas is still a little ham, and he loves decorating. The boys have a 4-foot tree in their room too, and they put all their favorite ornaments ("all the fun ones" Joel says) on their upstairs tree.
Welcome to the world, beautiful baby Claire! This is our tiny new niece, who you probably know all about from reading Annie's blog, Shoeprint. She updates much more faithfully than I have been lately, so I hope if you have gotten bored waiting for my updates you have followed along with her blog, and of course Roxanne's, and our latest addition to the blogger family, Rho's Garden. Please click on Claire's blog if you want to read all about this tiny miracle. She decided to come five weeks early but she is healthy and growing and we are so glad she's here!
Here is a proud new Mama.
We celebrated Jorie's birthday last week! Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch the kids for a while so Jorie and I could go out, so we had an awesome dinner at Vito's, then came back home for cake, ice cream, and presents. Happy birthday Jorie!
And in case you haven't heard the news, yes, the rumors are true. Baby Dill #3 is on the way, due July 5th. We are trying to think pink, but we are still pretty much expecting another boy. Of course, as long as it is either one of those, we will be thrilled. ;-) After much debate on the issue, we have decided NOT to find out what we are having so we'll all have to wait until July to find out if this site's name will still work or if I'll have to update it to something like "dillboysandalittlelady.blogspot.com". Nah, this site will always be Dill boys. Jorie can start her own blog if she wants something girly. :-)

Also, Jorie's hair looks too cute in the last pic!! We asked Anni and she said baby Dill is a girl......Love all the pics!!
Roxanne- I think you like my hair in the last pic because of the "way cool" earrings from you that I'm wearing... the fun, purple dangly clip ones. Yep, I even pulled out some earrings for the night and thought of you and how much I miss you all! :)
Jorie, Jeez, why didn't you send me an email updating me on your growing family? Plus, I'm surprised Rox didn't mention it on her blog!
Congrats! Nicole
I was so excited to check your blog today and find some updates!!! The pictures are all so GOOD! You even make me look presentable in the ones I'm in! Boys are pretty great no matter how many. I sorta like the suspense of waiting for Baby Dill #3 without knowing, but I am thinking pink along with you!
